adam smith

Through his book, “The Wealth of Nations”, Smith is widely regarded as the father of modern Political Economics. His position as a great Wealth Creator is fully deserved because of the number of people who have been influenced by his thinking – with the leaders of nations adopting policies that freed up their citizens both to create wealth and protect freedoms. One of Smith’s followers was the French economist, Jean-Baptiste Say, who is believed to be the first person to have coined the term, “Entrepreneur - one who undertakes an enterprise, acting as an intermediary between capital and labour”.

Smith produced ideas that millions have used to create wealth for themselves and others.
